I’m Kyle, the Head Coach of Build Performance…

I strive to live my life with three main priorities: become closer to God, be a better husband and to be the best Father I can to my children. I’m married to my soulmate, Cheyenne. I’m also a proud father to Micah (15), Jaxon (11), Titus (6), Willow (4) and Step-Father to Bella (15).

I’ve spent the last 8 years as a Physical Education Teacher and Coach at the High School and Middle School level. I’ve always been fascinated by movement and the ability of the body to respond and improve through hard work. Throughout the years I immersed myself in learning as much as I could about movement and strength as I pushed my own body to see what it was capable of. As a competitive Powerlifter, I reached an 1800 lb. total and had best lifts of 725 Squat, 450 Bench Press and 650 Deadlift. In 2019 I decided to continue my education in the Strength & Conditioning field by obtaining my certification as a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist through the National Strength & Conditioning Association.

I love working with people and I love helping them achieve their goals. Whether you’re an athlete looking to improve performance on the field/court or you’re an adult trying to regain the strength and athleticism of your youth, I’m here to Build that Wall with you, brick by brick.

Brick by Brick

Build the wall is a mantra I’ve used for many years as I’ve worked toward my own goals. My father has worked at the same brick plant for over 35 years, up before the sun and out in the elements. I even spent a couple of years working there (which made me really eager to go back to college). Everything I know about hard work I got from him. I suppose that I’ve also always associated hard work with brick. Naturally brick is something that I am very familiar with as I’ve seen it go from the soft clay to a hardened brick. Now one brick doesn’t have much value or use by itself but when combined with mortar and other bricks it can create an impenetrable wall.

The same goes for the things we do for our bodies. One workout, one good meal or one night of good sleep may not make an immediate impact or show its usefulness right away. But when you combine those day after day, laying “brick” after “brick” you will eventually reach your goals and create a body that can do whatever you want it to. At Build Performance we talk about your goals and then we identify what the “bricks” are that will lead to your goals being achieved. Day after day we will focus on laying those bricks and eventually you will see that a strong and capable wall has been built. Join us at Build Performance and we will Build YOUR Wall, brick by brick!

“My flesh and my heart may fail, but God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever.”
